Yves Champagne is a versatile self . Historically, it has alternated between the passion for music and the discovery of several trades. Shared between the stage , composition and improvisation , it is the long-term achievements that dominate his artistic landscape. The 80s were marked by performances with various groups and musical arrangements on diverse works . This period was also devoted to music production and indicative soundtracks ( CITF FM and CKRL ; tales in Atikameks , Tribute to the 350th anniversary of Trois- Rivières, CKTM 13 , and band for the theater Cardboard ) . Winners of the provincial Song Contest theme of the International Year of Youth (1985) with the title Let us join hands , Yves Champagne and Pierre Martin have their winning song among 182 participants. From the 90s, Yves more devoted to writing his first album COSMIC GALLERY ( MAC Scholar , 1991) and the musical production of a second instrumental album OGIDNI (More than ever) the majority of whose titles was published by INTERMÈDE Communications in 2008. At the same time , practice and teaching carpentry seek from the composer rigor and discipline to bring to fruition all its projects. Latest : an album of lullabies and nursery rhymes, FAIS DODO MON TRÉSOR (2012) , he signs the arrangements and execution . It is a coproduction with Sylvie Galarneau and collaboration with the interpreter – Andrée Levesque Sioui .
